  • As anyone familiar with a boat knows, the water you use means the difference between unsightly water-spots and quality long-lasting maintenance. Continuing to broaden their market, Spot Zero has come out with their newest product - the Mobile Pro Mini. Designed for use on boats up to 45’ and nearly half the size of the Mobile Pro 2.0, it makes a great option for those with center consoles and smaller sportfish boats looking to use reverse osmosis water. The 130 lb. unit features an LCD screen to keep up with maintenance, removable wheels and rubber grips for easy movement, and a sleek, durable frame.

Spot Zero’s reverse osmosis system “removes 95-96% of dissolved solids, which are destructive to marine paints, coatings and other yacht finishes”. Reverse osmosis works by pushing water through a pre-membrane filter and a semi-permeable membrane to restrict organic compounds from passing. A huge benefit to using RO water when cleaning a boat is a longer life overall for your sealants, waxes, and coatings. The harsh minerals in dockside water will degrade the products you apply to your boat to protect it, by removing these you are able to go longer in between reapplications. Another favorite feature of the Mobile Pro Mini is the reduction in water-spots which means less chamois-ing at the end of your long day on the water.

The Mobile Pro Mini will take up minimal space on your dock and only requires an input hose running from the dock spigot to the unit and another hose which you can use to wash your boat, rinse your fishing equipment, and fill your boats freshwater tank (providing you spot-free water for your next fishing trip). Quick-connect attachments will allow you to disassemble the unit with ease for traveling. We recommend keeping at least one set of spare filters and membranes on hand to keep up with the required maintenance.

    Required unit maintenance:

    • Every 100 hours - change pre-filter (1)
    • Every 1000 hours - change membranes (2)

As with the other products in the Spot Zero water purification line, the Mobile Pro Mini is an investment in your time, money, and quality of your boat. Shop your new Spot Zero Mobile Pro Mini today.
