With all of the new Center Console and Sportfish products coming out, one that really catches our eye is the Rigid Industries 40" Light Bar. When conditions prove to be tough, this light could make or break your journey home.

Safety is #1 on the water. While traditional spotlights are great the rigid industries light bar grants you a wider array of vision at night. Flood spot combo, includes the direct beam like a traditional spot light, while the flood combo, gives you a spread of light in front of the boat. This can help you while running OFFSHORE at night. Even in the roughest conditions these lights hold up to their name.

Rigid Industries name says it all. They build their products to last. Using high quality fittings and screws, your light will stay as fresh as the day you purchased it, when properly installed. One thing this light doesn't come with is proper usage instructions and etiquette while on the water......

    Captains Corner:

I am one of the biggest advocates for Rigid Industries, in-fact I actually use the same light on my boat. With that being said running at night is a little less stressful when you have your light bar along with your gps. However I can't tell you how many times I have seen a boat that decides to use their light bar as headlights! These lights can really do some damage, and cause another boater to have to slow all the way down while you pass. I recommend counting to 3 when running the intercoastal, this should give you plenty of time to see a marker light up, and if not you should probably get your eyes checked out!
