Shurhold Bucket Grate [2402]

Every time a wash mitt or brush goes back in the bucket, it can pick up the grit you just rinsed off. The Shurhold Bucket Grate sits in the bottom of a standard 5-gallon bucket and holds your mitt, brush or mop head above the dirt. Salt, sand and grit sink below the grate, so each dunk rinses your tools clean instead of loading them back up before they touch the gelcoat.

It's the simplest way to stop washing swirl marks into a high-gloss finish, whether you're washing down a sportfish after a day offshore or cleaning a center console at the dock.

Why crews use it

• Keeps wash mitts, brushes and mop heads up out of the dirty water at the bottom of the bucket
• Lets grit settle below the grate so it doesn't get picked back up
• Built-in measuring cups for adding the right amount of boat soap
• Fits standard 5-gallon buckets, including the Shurhold 5 Gallon Rope Handle Bucket

Pair it with a Shurhold Bucket Seat/Lid and a chenille wash mitt, and read our guide on keeping your wash mitt and chamois from scratching your finish.
