Additionally, all PRO16 Single include Eartec’s auto mute microphone that silences the signal simply by setting the boom in the “up” position. A new fortified microphone assembly featuring internal metal construction and stainless attachment hardware is now standard. Deluxe padding is extra wide and super soft too.

They are just amazing.
Auto pair feature gets everyone connected in seconds which is very useful in rush situations.
Volume is loud enough and clear in most situations (not for the engine room with the engines running though). Wind is blocked effectively making communications very clear when we are fishing.
I would estimate the distance of clear communications at a quarter mile. Main headset was in the enclosed bridge, crew was at the bow and stern of the boat (64') and I was on the tender close to a quarter mile away. We could all communicate clearly. Farther than that we could still communicate but there were short break ups in the signal.
They are very comfortable, we used them for the duration of a couple of 5 hrs trips and 9 hrs fishing days and no one took them off, so they are comfy (previous version that we had were unbearable after 1 hr). Battery life went beyond the advertised 10 hrs which is awesome and charging system is very practical and effective in charging quickly.
We are very pleased and impressed with the system!
